To all the members and our honoured leader, all the best for the season.
Just watched a video of crowds on the beach of Sydney. Here, we have had the warmest Christmas Day on record and an officially declared a white Christmas.

Thanks, John! The 144th at Fresno never flew the E, and that travesty had to be remedied. The 163rd at March flew the D and then the RF-4C, and actor Dean Martin's son was KIFA in a D in 1987 down in SoCal...

This unusual aircraft, reduced in size resembles a strategic bomber B-36 was built in a single copy (registration number X77770) in early 1948 and the first flight took place on 1 October of 1948. It was equipped with four Continental C-85 engines driving pusher-propellers and could carry up to 6 passengers. The test results did not encouraged any potential customers and the aircraft was put in the Wedell-Williams Memorial Aviation Museum in the Patterson, Louisiana. In 1992, the museum was hit by hurricane Andrew and MV-1 was virtually destroyed. The aircraft was relocated to a storage hanger and in 2005 the hanger along with the aircraft was leveled by hurricane Rita. The museum has moved to a new location in Patterson. Thanks, John, and nicely done. The A/FX had proposals from Lockheed-Martin, Grumman (before the merger with Northrop), and McAir (Before being absorbed by Boeing). I have yet to see if the Grumman and McAir proposals have concept artwork in the public domain....Just the Lockheed one so far.
