I could have sworn that these were my idea… but I could be mistaken…
Still, they’re very nice.

Thanks, John! A humble request: USMC F-14As for VMFA-122, -451, and -323. Those would've been the three F-14 squadrons that followed -531 had the Corps' plans for the F-14 not been canceled.

Brian has a current request for the same as of Jan 28 last year. I have planned for this and have included a couple of extras in that planning. Great minds!

As the end of the year fast approaches, it is time for me to produce the traditional end of month request. A most interesting selection of pushme pullyou’s indeed. I reckon there be few mash up ideas in this lot …

The second component of Matt's request is a brace of F-21 Lions in USAF aggressor service. Not sure I’ve seen you use the term ‘brace of’ before Johno. I take it that you don’t actually mean 3 brace of game birds then. Or was it because the F-21 was a game bird as in ready for anything. Apologies for being a pedant, this is what happens to me when I get to read actual books over Xmas break

Whilst I've seen the term used for a pair I've also seen it used for greater multiples.

The second component of Matt's request is a brace of F-21 Lions in USAF aggressor service. I think the USAF passed up an interesting opportunity when they didn’t at least try to get these birds into their service when the Corps was done with them… because they look right somehow in USAF Aggressor colors…

More for South Vietnam, this time for Brian. A two-for-one deal so soon after the last one? I’m feeling absolutely spoiled here! And the birds are absolutely beautiful, as usual.

Thanks again, John. Those F-21s look as if they were bred for the Aggressor Squadrons. And the PBMs look good as well.

Nice job, John. Allow me to guess, but that first Su-22 has an AS-9 Kyle antiradar missile? Looks like it to me.

That a CONA (Century of Naval Aviation) A-4? That was part of the inspiration for it. The rest of it was the F/A-18A John had done in this scheme…
